The Elevated Plus Maze is a tool for anxiety testing. The mice are placed into a plus-shaped maze with two open and two closed arms that are 60 cm above the ground.

Mice naturally try to avoid open spaces. The time the mice stay in open and closed arms is measured.

The model can be used for the following fields of application:
