Deputy Head of the Fraunhofer IZI Department of Drug Design and Target Validation Dr. Holger Cynis has been appointed Junior Professor for "Immunomodulation in Pathophysiological Processes" at the Medical Faculty of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), effective November 1, 2023. Jun.-Prof. Dr. Holger Cynis researches how certain mechanisms of the immune system can trigger diseases, with the aim of developing novel active substances.
