In the framework of career guidance or your studies, practical experience forms an important introduction to your future career. At the same time, as a research institute, we need junior researchers so that our innovations can continue to make an important social contribution in future. Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology is always looking for talents and creative minds that want to contribute their ideas and implement them together with us. Experience working with us and get to know our research fields in an ideal environment. We offer the following internship models:
- High school student or orientation internship: This offer is aimed at high school students who are about to graduate or have recently graduated and would like to complete an internship to help them choose a career path. Once a year, during the winter break in Saxony, Fraunhofer IZI organizes a one-week internship during which several interns are supervised as a group. Internship positions are advertised in November / December on the Fraunhofer IZI job market. Please note that due to applicable occupational safety regulations and genetic engineering safety regulations, we can only offer student internships in our laboratory areas to individuals aged 16 and above.
- Internship during university studies: University students whose study regulations require an internship or practical semester, or who would like to do a voluntary internship during their studies, have the opportunity to do so with us. Current enrollment at a college or university is required for the internship.
