Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZIProtein chemistry comprises the production and characterisation of proteins and enzymes as potential drug targets or target proteins. Characterisation is carried out in close interaction between all fields involved and supports the examination and development of new treatment concepts as well as the establishment of assays for drug development.
