Key note lectures at the 3rd Fraunhofer Life Science Symposium in Leipzig
Several top-notch scientists have agreed to participate in the 3rd Fraunhofer Life Science Symposium on October, 24th and 25th, 2008 in Leipzig.
These include Prof. Gustav Steinhoff from Rostock, who will speak about the indications for and long term outcomes of cardiac stem cell therapy. Further key note lectures will be given by Prof. Jürgen Hescheler, Prof. Ulrich Dirnagl, Prof. Bodo-Eckehard Strauer, Dr. Brigitte Onteniente and Dr. Bernd Stratmann. They will cover topics from across the field of Ischemia and Regeneration and present their latest findings in front of an international audience. The six sessions focus on cardiac, cerebral and peripheral ischemia as well as the use of stem cells, process development and imaging.
As the scientific program fills up, numerous sponsors for the industry exhibition which will be located in the atrium of the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, have also voiced their desire to participate. The space for booths is now, fully five months before the event nearly sold out.
